Introduction

Every time my hands touch the cool whiteness of flour, or my eyes examine the incredible delicate glory of a budding flower; every time I smell fresh laundry from the warm dryer, or detect the sparkle on a polished mirror; every time new material runs under a sharp needle and comes out with a perfect seam, or the gentle wisp of herbal steam floats out of the teapot...

My heart feels pure joy.

The simple satisfaction of life at home has been my greatest joy for as long as I can remember.

For your benefit (and potential inspiration), I am journaling some of those experiences here. Don't be surprised if a little of God's word finds its way into my writings. After all, He is the reason I find that joy in life at home.
